A Japanese contemporary infusion Garden design. Two large reflection pools are connected by a pebbled river stream and a cascading water bowl adds harmony to this tranquil environment. Concrete poured stepping stones guide one across the front reflection pool. The use of various species of Japanese Plants splash colour throughout this landscape. A handmade pebbled mosaic of a monarch butterfly enhances the artistic element to the Outdoor room structure. The backdrop to the garden lies 2 old wooden gates creating a timeless feel. To enhance the sculptural quality of the design, round smooth rocks are strategically placed.
Humble simplicity, this garden focuses on conceptual tropical plant life. Comprising of 3 huts to enjoy the view on every aspect of the garden. 3 Shingled roofs with raw timber pillars and wooden decks make up the earthy style of living. The pond filled with waterlilies meanders through the garden with steppingstones.

Combining large rough sawn cypress pine post, smoke redwood decking, polished blue stone with hand carved Balinese door.
Organic shaped blue stone slabs guides one through the garden, water falls from the bathroom roof into the pond.
Designed for the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show this garden was awarded a Gold Medal. A Contemporary design featuring a lap pool which runs in front of the lounge room. A covered outdoor kitchen that lets you cook outside all year round. And a table for dining under the stars. The use of Bluestone and timber as well as rendered planter boxes and pillars and a white feature wall of 3 dimensional tiles inset with mirrored window panels. Both the kitchen and living room pavilions are fully equipped with a wok burner in the former and TV and gas log fire in the latter. Five glow balls float on the pool setting a festive mood. The plantings are a tapestry of contrasting foliage’s, providing different colours as the seasons change.
This Gold Medal Winning Garden was constructed for the New Zealand International Flower and Garden show in 2017. Surrounded by a lush green tapestry of tropical plant life, this boutique resort style garden includes an island style hut with contemporary furnishings.
